1991

The Anthias company was created in Saint-Didier-Au-Mont-D'Or, a town near Lyon, with a surface area of 300 m² and 200 aquariums. Supported by ANVAR.

 

1996

Growth in business. Anthias becomes the "livebearer specialist".

 

1997

First supplier of live fish to insure full traceability by systematically managing its stock with barcodes.

 

2002

Move to our brand new building in Les Chères, north of Lyon. Anthias obtains ultramodern equipment, now covers 1800 m² and doubles its acclimatation capacities.

 

2005

First company of its sector to offer a website with online ordering.

 

2012

Doubling the cold water structures to 400 m².

 

2014

Creation of two new acclimatation rooms: saltwater and reptile. Expansion of our building to 2500 m² and 3000 aquariums.
New website and new visual identity. Anthias has 24 team members.

 

2016

Animal Challenge 2016 :
Anthias receives the golden trophy for best aquarium fish supplier and garden pond.
